This morning I got up and took Kenzie to school at 7:10am. Then went grocery shopping. Then came home and made Roast carrots and potatoes so Rody could have it for dinner and we could have it for lunch. The kids woke up around 9am and they ate breakfast. Then I knitted while the kids played and  I also made some bows, and a bow tie for Isaac. Which he wanted to wear all day! I also went to some thrift stores. And to Michaels.

Kenzies wrestling banquet was tonight so I got ready, and we had to dress up so I wasnt too thrilled about that, but I went with it. haha

The banquet was really fun. We had a great dinner. I liked everything they served!

Kimmys sheep had triplets tonight, it was a tough delivery but they all survived and they are all doing good. First babies of the season…so fun! Cant wait to see them!

Then another sheep had a single lamb, and that one is doing good too!

After I cleaned up the house, I knitted a dishcloth, with a heart pattern using YOK2TOG. I love how it looks! I made up the pattern! :)

Then I went to bed around 1am

Today I got up and took Kenzie to school. She told me she needs a bigger duffle bay for wrestling, so I told her I would look for one at the thrift stores.

I got the kids all ready and we decided we were going to go to the Children’s Museum first. So we went inside, and they said they were closed. So we left. We got stopped by a train as soon as we left, and we had to wait at least a half an hour. The train went forward stopped for a while, then went back. We ate our lunch in the car since it took so long.

Then we went to all the thrift stores. I found a whole bag of knitting needles for only $3 at Salvation Army. It had needle sizes 0’s-5’s. Long ones and short ones. All together there were 10 sets of needles for only $3. I was so happy!!! Plus it had 3 different yarn rolls in it. GREAT DEAL!

Then we headed to Good Will, because I still didnt find the duffle bag. Right when I got there, I found one. It was brand new with the tags on it for only $3.99. Thank God! I also found a couple Tupperware cups for only .19 cents. I was so happy!

Then I brought the kids home, and started knitting on a pair of slippers. Rody got home and Kenzie called and said she needed to go to the Dr’s because she had a infected sore on her face. So we went to Med Express, they think it might be MRSA or Impetigo. She wont be able to wrestle this weekend at districts, so she bursted into tears as soon as the Dr started saying what it was. I felt so bad for her. They are going to call me when the tests come back. They put her on a antibiotic.

We left and went to Jimmy Johns because we were starving. Then we went to Omi and Popi’s and ate. They had a Valentines Day card for the kids…with $5 for each of them. And then she gave them all some candy. 

The kids and Rody were already in bed when we got home. I took a bath, knitted a little more on my slippers and went to bed.

I love this yarn and the color.

Feb. 11, 2015

Today I got up and took Kenzie to school and Rodys mom stayed with the kids. I gave her her Grammy dishcloth, which didnt turn out as good as I wanted :( O well, I tried! You can see it a little better in person, should of used a lighter color.

Then I got back and Melissa brought Evan over, because she had a Dr appointment. Evan played with the kids and watched Sesame Street. They were acting so cute together…trying to make each other laugh and stuff.

Then Melissa came and we got to visit for a little while. She had nothing but good news to report from her doctor appt. Praise God!

Then my mom stopped by and helped me get the kids into the car so I could go to Kimmys. I got to Kimmys and we knitted on our dishcloths for mom to sell tomorrow. We got almost 30 dishcloths done. We worked hard! But Kimmy did 17 and is working on her 18th one tonight. And she also did a few at moms house the other day…she sure worked her butt off! Jared made glass hearts, with his glass stuff. Which were super nice!

Kimmy played Dr with Isaac, which he loved! And got out all her fun toys for the kids. They sure do love her. I love how they just climb up on her and feel so comfortable.

Then I watched the boys while Kimmy and Jared went to Jacob and Adams school conferences. 

After that, they went to Kenzies wrestling meet. My dad, Omi and Popi, my cousin Shani and her husband Steve were also there. Kenzie had to wrestle the girl she wrestled the other day, Melanie. Yikes! When I heard she was wrestling Melanie, I started to get super nervous. She is the one who has been wrestling since she was 5 and is super good! Kenzie made it through the first round with no pin, but got pinned in the 2nd round. Everyone said she did really good though. 

It was much more relaxing to stay at Kimmys with her boys and Peyton and Isaac. Kimmys boys watched Spy Kids on tv, while Eli and the twins watched Frozen on the ipad. We all ate pizza for dinner. I let the boys eat their pizza while watching the movie, on tv trays in the living room. I thought that would be fun. I had to keep reminding them they had pizza and to eat, lol they were so into the movie. They probably dont even remember eating haahahaha.

My kids, especially Isaac loved this little car thing. OMG he played with it all day. He would pretend like the remote thing was clippers, like he was buzzing his hair, it was so funny.

Kimmy and Jared got home and of course Kenzie and Jared got right to wrestling and discussing moves. haha

We left right away, because it was snowing, and I didnt want to get stuck with crappy roads.

Stopped at my mom and dads on the way home and dropped off the dishcloths and glass hearts.

When we got home, the kids were zonked out in their car seats. They had a long day with no naps or rests, so I got them in bed, and they fell back asleep fast.

Now I am posting this blog and then heading to bed. What a fun day!
