Today I got up and took Kenzie to school. She told me she needs a bigger duffle bay for wrestling, so I told her I would look for one at the thrift stores.

I got the kids all ready and we decided we were going to go to the Children’s Museum first. So we went inside, and they said they were closed. So we left. We got stopped by a train as soon as we left, and we had to wait at least a half an hour. The train went forward stopped for a while, then went back. We ate our lunch in the car since it took so long.

Then we went to all the thrift stores. I found a whole bag of knitting needles for only $3 at Salvation Army. It had needle sizes 0’s-5’s. Long ones and short ones. All together there were 10 sets of needles for only $3. I was so happy!!! Plus it had 3 different yarn rolls in it. GREAT DEAL!

Then we headed to Good Will, because I still didnt find the duffle bag. Right when I got there, I found one. It was brand new with the tags on it for only $3.99. Thank God! I also found a couple Tupperware cups for only .19 cents. I was so happy!

Then I brought the kids home, and started knitting on a pair of slippers. Rody got home and Kenzie called and said she needed to go to the Dr’s because she had a infected sore on her face. So we went to Med Express, they think it might be MRSA or Impetigo. She wont be able to wrestle this weekend at districts, so she bursted into tears as soon as the Dr started saying what it was. I felt so bad for her. They are going to call me when the tests come back. They put her on a antibiotic.

We left and went to Jimmy Johns because we were starving. Then we went to Omi and Popi’s and ate. They had a Valentines Day card for the kids…with $5 for each of them. And then she gave them all some candy. 

The kids and Rody were already in bed when we got home. I took a bath, knitted a little more on my slippers and went to bed.

I love this yarn and the color.

We got up this s morning and went with my sister Melissa and my niece Hailey to her eye Dr appointment. Melissa surprised me with a cappuccino…yum! Thanks Mel!
We got to Haileys appointment and she got her eyes tested and sure enough, she needed glasses! We picked out a few cute pairs but she found the cutest pair all by herself. She looks so cute in them!

Mel brought me home and I got the kids ready and went over to my mom and dads for Christmas dinner leftovers…yummy! Then we watched #deathtoselfie, naming rights…the last one of the series! So so so so good! The kids played while we watched it.

I had to go pick up Kenzie at her biological grandmas house. She celebrated Christmas with them and her cousins and Aunt today. She got a lot of nice stuff. This girl is spoiled! But I’ll call her BLESSED :)

We came home and Kenzie went to babysit for a lady from churches grandkids. Me Rody and the kids went and walked the mall and got a couple things, then we went to Best Buy. Rody got me a new phone case…with his Christmas gift cards…he’s so sweet! O and I got a megaphone with a gift card for JCPenneys…which I love! Haha I’m the worst yelled…ask Rody!

Kenzie got this shirt tonight so I made her show off her wrestling muscles in it haha

Then Kenzie came and got me and Peyton and we went to Goodwill where she got tons of cute clothes and cute boots!

Then we came home and I used my megaphone and gave everyone headaches haha.

Im going to try and post a video clip of my cute fish…it loves me! It acts this way everytime I come up to its bowl.

Then we got the kids in bed and just sat around. It was a fun day! Now off to bed :)

First day of the rest of my blog

Now that i kinda sortof caught everyone up on my life…here we go!

Today I woke up, got the kids up. We tried oatmeal for breakfast, I added brown sugar but it didnt help…they arent fans of oatmeal. So I gave them a pop tart after they ate half their bowls of the oatmeal. NOT WORTH THE WINING…mental note lol

Then we got dressed and did the Letter of the Day which is S today. So I drew a picture of a shark on the dry erase board…we do this daily…well almost daily. They were all excited but when they saw I drew a scary shark they didnt like it and wanted me to erase it. Haha I said nope, because I figured they wont forget the scary letter S. lol

Then we headed over to my friends house because I am taking care of her dog while shes out of town…got that done…check!

Came home and right after we walked in the door, my sister Melissa came over with Max and Jack, my nephews. I was going to watch them while she went on a field trip for her kids school.

We watched some tv, the kids favorite show Tayo. Peyton was trying to show off infront of Jack and Evan so she sang the beginning of the song really good, and I got it on video haha. Then we had some mac and cheese, and then I put the twins down for a nap…they must of been super tired because they fell asleep right away!

Then Mel got back and I got to give her two older kids, Hailey and Max, their birthday cards. They were really happy about getting money.

After she left I sat down for a few minutes and Rody got home from work. Peyton woke up, so I decided to wake up Isaac and we had spaghetti before I had to leave to pick up Kenzie.

I went to get Kenzie and she was already out waiting for me. We went to a few thrift stores. I found a bug collecting tent thing for only $1.99, Then at the next thrift store across the street I found these lace practicing things that I really have been wanting to get the kids, I even told Rody I wanted them. I found them for $1.40

Then Kenzie and I went to Good Will, Kenzie had a headache so she stayed in the car. I got 2 huge bags of candy corn for only .25 cents each and a sweater for Kenzie it was $3 something. Then we headed home.

When I walked in the door the house was a total mess! TOYS EVERYWHERE! The kids were at my feet asking over and over, “what did you get for us?”

I told them I wasnt going to even show them anything til they cleaned up! They did…super fast! Then I let them play with the stuff. 

Then I got their jammies on and got them ready for bed! Isaac was being naughty so I shut the door, That was at 9:30 and they just fell asleep…its 12:32am. They always talk to each other til like 11ish.

Kenzie and I played a game on our phones called trivia crack, it was so fun! We are currently in a game right now. But she fell asleep so Im assuming its over for the night haha.
