Jan. 26, 2015

Today Kenzie didnt have school, so when the kids woke up, she them up and made them breakfast. It was so sweet! I was laying there listening to them, all ready to get up, but I wanted to give her some time with them. They love her so much, and she is so sweet with them!

My mom came over to visit for a few min before she picked up Jack from school, it was nice seeing/visiting with her…and knitting with her.

O and she picked me up a cute little needle holder…thanks mom! I love it!!!

Then she left and came back for a few minutes before her hair appointment…Ill take what I can get haha I love seeing her!

When I got up, I started knitting on my blanket and finished one whole knit/pearl section. I loved it so much I decided to rip out the blanket sections I already did, and do them like this.

I knitted til lunch.

Then I was looking for something to make that sounded good, and I decided to make scrambled eggs and sausage…but I added some Tostitos salsa con queso, it was so good! We ended up having it for supper too. Rody and Kenzie both loved it! The kids dont really like eggs, but they ate it…the sausage was their favorite haha.

I forgot to post this pic yesterday, I found it on a friends fb page and loved it haha

The kids took a nap, and Kenzie left for wrestling, then my friend Karen came over to pick up some of Kenzies formal dresses for her daughter to try on for a dance she has Saturday. Kenzie was happy to let her borrow them. :) They live about an hour so it was much easier for Karen to stop here after work and just pick them up. She works about 7 min from my house, at my old job. It sure was nice seeing her, even though it was only for a couple min.

Peyton woke up from her nap and laid down on the floor while I knitted, she looked so cute, I had to snap a pic.

Kenzie came home, just as I was getting dinner finished.

After dinner, I knitted until about 7pm. Rody left to go learn the sound board at church, and I gave the kids a bath. They love taking baths with Nana and Papas bubble bath they gave them for Christmas.

Then we watched Baby Einstein before bed.

I was so tired, I made it in bed by 11:30 tonight.

Jan.19, 2015

Today Kenzie didn’t have school, so we all slept in. :)

When we got up I still wasn’t feeling well so I pretty much sat around all day. The kids played so good together all day. They ate lunch and took a nap. At 3pm Kenzie had to go to wrestling practice so I let her take my car. Rody got home shortly after she left. We watched Elevation Church, I did some laundry, and we watched some Wonder Years, The kids woke up and we had leftover spaghetti.

Then the kids played with their train set and some other toys til bedtime. I knitted some more on my blanket. After Kenzie got home from practice, she knitted about 10 rows for me, which made me so happy! Thanks Kenz!

At some point in the day, I was talking on the phone to Kimmy and Kenzie wanted me to take a pic of her doing this:

and she had me send it to Kimmy! She is definitely a little weird! hahaha

Here are some pics of Kenzies scarf, and headband she knitted to go with her gloves.

We cracked up about Izzy winking in this pic. haha

I know these are like all pretty much the same picture…but she hardly lets me take pics of her now so when I find an overload of selfies on my phone I post them haha

She will love it when shes older

Here is my blanket so far.

I know it looks all crazy now, but it will look better when Im done. haha I kinda like the craziness of it.

I love seeing her beautiful smile!

This was my snack tonight and yesterday…I just love grapes and strawberries together…its my favorite!

This is how she was sitting watching me knit, so I had to take a pic of it haha

then of course Isaac wanted a pic

hes a doll!

It was a great night! Going to bed now!

Jan. 17, 2014

This morning I woke up at 10:30 am and still didn’t hear the kids, so I went to check on them and Kenzie had already gotten them up and fed them breakfast, and they were watching tv with her quietly. It was so sweet of Kenzie to let me sleep in. She is such a sweet girl!

I pretty much knitted my blanket all day long. I seriously don’t think I even took an hour in breakes the whole day!

The kids played, Kenzie went to Omi’s to spend the night, and Rody and I watched The Wonder Years and then worship music on youtube all day well I knit my blanket. That’s about it. I got a lot done today, which I am very happy about!

I took 1 pic of Peyton all day, and a couple videos.

Here are the links to the videos:

Jan.16, 2015

This morning I woke up, took Kenzie to school, got back home and got ready to go to my meeting at Kenzie’s school. I dropped the kids off at Grammy’s at 9am and headed over to the school.

I had a meeting with the school social worker, the psychologist, and Kenzie’s school counselor. It went so great! The social worker was a born again Christian, and we had a great talk. Thank you Jesus!

I stopped at Walmart to get some yarn because I decided I was going to knit a blanket. I got big balky yarn, and some size 16 needles. And I also got some dishcloth yarn, and some yarn needles.

Then I went to my moms house. Kimmy and her kids were there, and Melissa and 2 of her kids were there…Jack and Evan. We just hung out, had lunch, veggie soup, and egg salad sandwiches. It was a great lunch…only food I had all day haha. Then we knitted, and Kimmy taught Melissa how to knit. Even Jacob (who is 9) was knitting. I wish I would of taken a pic of him. It was so cute :( Kimmy was taking Jack and Evan home with her, and Melissa was taking Jacob home with her to spend the night. So I took Adam home with me.

I had to leave to pick up the kids by 3pm. When I got to Rody’s mom’s house, Adam was crying. He said he wanted to go home because there was no one his age with me. My mom was right down the road picking up Melissa’s kids, so she came and picked up Adam and took him back to his mom…I was sad! :( But Rody’s mom sent him home with a bag full of art stuff…so he was happy with that!

I snapped some pictures of the kids with Grammy, since we don’t have very many. :) They had to show me how they pulled the mattress off the bed.

I came home and the kids were super crabby so I put them down for a nap, they fell asleep right away! I knitted while they slept. Rody left and came back with some yarn for my blanket, I was so so so so happy! Thank you Rody!!! xoxo

here is the start of my blanket, what I got finished today.

Its about 2 feet wide, and a little over a foot long. It is so soft, and so heavy to hold while I’m knitting it. haha

Then the kids got up for dinner, pizza. They ate all their pizza so I let them each have 2 cookies. They are always excited to eat off their plates we made from Aunt Tina.

They each got a sucker for going #2 on the potty. :)

They decided to act crazy from all the sugar. haha

Kenzie and Rody had a daddy daughter date tonight, they went to Chen’s. They were originally going to go to G’s Pizza, but it wasn’t open yet.

When they got home, I knitted some more on my blanket, and had a talk with Kenzie. Then she wrote out some of the Bible, while I filled out forms for her school. Now I am doing my blog and off to bed, I can barely keep my eyes open.

Night Night
