This morning we got up and ate breakfast. Its my nephew Eli’s 5th birthday, so we called him and sang happy birthday to him.

Its a sad day at our house because we have to put our dog Izzy, who is almost 9 years old, to sleep. 

She has been peeing and pooping in the house alot lately. So I made the appointment for 3pm. Kenzies boyfriend Bryce decided to come with us, as a support. Which was so nice. He took Izzy back with Kenzie and held her during the procedure. We are so sad.

Afterwords, we went to Jimmy Johns and ate a late lunch.  

Then we headed over to the pet store, and we ended up getting a bearded dragon for Kenzie. It was alot of fun. Kenzie drove haha and I sat in the back seat…which was super weird!

We got home and Bryce and Kenzie set up the aquarium.

Kenzie named him Zeus.

THe kids love him!

They played with him til bedtime!

Slept in this morning because the kids didn’t wake up. I ended up waking them up at 10am. They ate breakfast and I knitted on my dishcloth with the braided coil. I didn’t really like how it turned out, and it was just for practice, so I decided to rip it out. But here it is

its not bad for my first braided coil, I just didn’t like it for a dishcloth. Plus I couldnt get it tight because the needles I was using were 10’s.

Then I pulled out my rubik cube and wanted to solve it, I never did! Im gunna take it to my sister and let her help me. Not do it for me, but show me how.

The kids ate lunch late, like around 2pm. Then they went down for a nap. By this time I had a major headache.

I laid on the couch and watched Netflix while they took a nap. They both slep til Rody got here. They got up and played til dinner.

Then tonight I gave them a bath. Then they watched Baby Einstein and played with Izzy before bed.

Im super tired, and I still have a headache so I am going to be in bed before 10pm tonight, thats for sure!

Today Kenzie didn’t have school, so we all slept in. :)

When we got up I still wasn’t feeling well so I pretty much sat around all day. The kids played so good together all day. They ate lunch and took a nap. At 3pm Kenzie had to go to wrestling practice so I let her take my car. Rody got home shortly after she left. We watched Elevation Church, I did some laundry, and we watched some Wonder Years, The kids woke up and we had leftover spaghetti.

Then the kids played with their train set and some other toys til bedtime. I knitted some more on my blanket. After Kenzie got home from practice, she knitted about 10 rows for me, which made me so happy! Thanks Kenz!

At some point in the day, I was talking on the phone to Kimmy and Kenzie wanted me to take a pic of her doing this:

and she had me send it to Kimmy! She is definitely a little weird! hahaha

I know these are like all pretty much the same picture…but she hardly lets me take pics of her now so when I find an overload of selfies on my phone I post them haha

This was my snack tonight and yesterday…I just love grapes and strawberries together…its my favorite!

I woke up and Rody already had the kids up and eating breakfast. Him and Kenzie were going to church, but I decided to stay home with the kids since they were still coughing and had runny noses.

When they took a nap we decided to show Rody how to knitt, Kenzie wanted to teach him, so I let her.

He didnt really love it…haha he kept saying it was confusing. O well, at least he tried!

I knitted a coffee cozy for my mom, and I knitted one for Misty, and one for around my candle…which Im not going to light, because its from my mom so its special! It deserves a cozy ;)

Then we ate turkey subs for lunch…and someone was eyeballin mine.

Hahahaha

Then I decided to try to come up with a pattern for some boot cuffs for Kenzie.

I casted on 36

Then knitted 20 regular rows

Then I knitted 6 regular and 6 pearl stitches all the way across for 6 rows

Then I knitted 6 pearl and 6 regular stitches all the way across for 6 more rows

Then I knitted 6 regular and 6 pearl stitches all the way across for 6 more rows

Then I did all pearl rows for 6 rows

Then I added white, and knitted 4 regular rows

And then I casted off.

Then I turned it inside out and sowed the edges together in a circle, gray yarn for the gray and white yarn for the white.

Then turned it inside out and it came out like this.

I am so happy it turned out, I just made it up as I went, luckily I wrote it down for the 2nd one so they would match :)

I got done with both at 3:30 am and now I am super tired!

SURE HOPE KENZIE WEARS THEM!!!

We are adding a button to each of them tomorrow, under the white in the center of. Cant wait to see if they fit her lol

Today I got up around 9, waiting for the kids to wake up…but they didn’t wake up until 10:45. I was totally shocked! Isaac was up coughing all night and they both didn’t have naps yesterday but I never thought they would of slept that long…or I would of gone back to bed! My mom came over for a minute and dropped off some shampoo and conditioner, some dish detergent, and some air freshener  …thanks mom!

After the kids woke up we ate breakfast, and played. Then I was talking to Kimmy on the phone and I noticed the kids were super quiet, and I saw Isaac taking water to his room. When I went in their room there was water everywhere. Water in the shopping cart, water in the play kitchen sink, water all over the floor, water in toys to the kitchen, and a bin with water in it about 2 inches high. Peyton said they were going to take a bath. I told them they were going to take a nap and so they needed to clean up. Peyton said “awe, why?” And I said “why do you think?” and she said “because, I like to think!” She is so funny sometimes! We had a few photo shoots today as you can see lol Peyton wanted to take a ton of pics with Izzy, usually its Isaac asking to take pics with her. lol

They took a nap and I took a nap too, they only slept for about an hour. But I got some rest, thank God! I have been so tired lately…probably from staying up past midnight every night lately! I am going to bed tonight as soon as I am done writing this! 

We ate dinner, and watched Tinkerbell. Then I got the kids in bed!  Now I guess I am going to take a quick bath before bed, it will give my heating blanket time to worm up ;)
