This morning, I let Kenzie drive my car to school. It was really nice to sleep in and not have to go anywhere all day. 

When I woke up, Knitted a couple dish cloths for Aunt Tina. One says I Heart you, and the other one says Tina, in cursive. I was happy that the heart one turned out, but the Tina one is a little crooked, but who cares. haha

It was kinda hard figuring out how to write it in cursive. But Im proud of it! I also made some KState bows for her.

Isaac wore underwear all day yesterday, and again all day today. No accidents, not even during his nap. :)

He is so proud of himself with underwear! ME too!

I had a wood pecker at my bird feeder today, first time ever. Well that I have seen :)

Then after I got the kids in bed, I decided to knit my friend Jessica a dishcloth with her last name in it…Gallop…turned out pretty good!

I finally went to bed at 3am…I was so tired!

Feb. 3, 2015

Slept in this morning because the kids didn’t wake up. I ended up waking them up at 10am. They ate breakfast and I knitted on my dishcloth with the braided coil. I didn’t really like how it turned out, and it was just for practice, so I decided to rip it out. But here it is

its not bad for my first braided coil, I just didn’t like it for a dishcloth. Plus I couldnt get it tight because the needles I was using were 10’s.

Then I pulled out my rubik cube and wanted to solve it, I never did! Im gunna take it to my sister and let her help me. Not do it for me, but show me how.

The kids ate lunch late, like around 2pm. Then they went down for a nap. By this time I had a major headache.

I laid on the couch and watched Netflix while they took a nap. They both slep til Rody got here. They got up and played til dinner.

Then tonight I gave them a bath. Then they watched Baby Einstein and played with Izzy before bed.

Im super tired, and I still have a headache so I am going to be in bed before 10pm tonight, thats for sure!

Today we got up and went to church…they were doing a backwards service today (Preach first…worship last). SO we took the kids to the Sunday school right when we got there…kinda nice!

Isaac wore his suit from Grammy, and Peyton wanted to wear her Christmas dress. They looked so cute!

Isaac didn’t wanna hold Peyton’s hand, he wanted to hold her arm, so they were fighting about it…lol She is just so bossy! haha

We had taco bell for lunch…yum!

Then I knit a dishcloth, using 2 yarns for my friend Melissa in Cali, it turned out so cute. I knit/pearled the whole thing, then just knitted 4 rows, then knit/pearled about 3 or 4 more rows. I love it! Might make me one! Its so fun trying new patterns. I just cant believe how much I love knitting!

Then I put Isaac in his room for a nap, and I had Peyton lay down with me, they take naps better if they aren’t in the same room.

we woke up around 6pm, and Rody was making breakfast for dinner. French toast, sausage, and tater-tots…yum!

Then I knitted some on my blanket, cleaned the house, and just sat around. The kids watched a Baby Einstein before bed…they are 3 and still pick Baby Einstein every night!

I sat on the table to take a pic of Isaac, and CRACK!!! The glass shattered under my butt! LOL I had to go wake Rody up to tell him. I was going to go get him a fork to get the glass out of the table, and he told me to wait, that he would get it. He used packaging tape, and taped the glass, and pulled it all out and into a box in one piece, then vacuumed the table. He is so smart! I called my mom to tell her, and she had a good laugh about it! Peyton kept telling me not to sit on the table cuz its dangerous…Im like OK Peyton!

I called Kimmy and told her, and then both the kids wanted to tell her too. They talked so good on the phone to her….I was surprised, because it wasnt on speaker phone. They are growing up so fast :(

I put them in bed, and they were begging me to do a blanket bomb!

Blanket bomb: They get into their bed, and I wad their blankets up and throw them at them really hard.

Haha they crack up every night when they get the blanket bomb!

Well I am tired so I am going to bed…and I might just be in bed by 10:30…a record for me! haha

Today Kenzie got out of school at 11:35 so we went and picked her up. Then I went to the grocery store to get milk and cereal. Then we came home. The kids watched Mickey Mouse Road Rally while I worked on knitting a pair of slippers for Rody.

They both decided they needed their Mickey and Minnie Mouse to watch it with them. haha

After the movie we ate lunch and then the kids took a nap. Rody got home from work at 4 and left right away to take Kenzie to wrestling practice. Then he came home and got ready to go to caregroup.

We made thick grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner and sausage. It was so good! Then the kids played well I knitted the slippers. I wanted to get them done before Rody got home. I gave the kids a bath and they watched a Baby Einstein before bedtime. 

After they went to sleep, I finished the slippers. Thank God! Rody said they fit perfect, and he kept saying “they are so thick, I love them!” So I think he really liked them lol

Then I watched Gilmore Girls until I went to bed, while knitting a dishcloth for Kimmy. :)

Today I woke up and went to Salvation Army with Misty. We had a great time together just thrifting. I found a ball of off white yarn for only .55 cents. Then I got home and worked on making a coffee cozy for Kimmy. I learned how to add a color, so I decided to try and make something with more than 1 color, I used 3 for her cozy and it turned out super cute!!!

Then I decided I was going to knit a infinity scarf so I started working on that while the kids slept. Arond 5pm, I decided to go do some grocery shopping at Kroger before I picked up Kenzie from wrestling.

Then we went to Mom and Dads house to get some buttons for Kenzies boot cuffs. Mom sewed the cute buttons on while Kenzie and I looked through buttons. It was really fun! We found some really cute buttons. Then Kenzie had the idea to sew a button on the bottom too, so that she could wear them 2 different ways…which was such a great idea!!!

We came home and got the kids in bed, then ate some tacos and I worked a little bit on my scarf, but was so tired, so I went to bed early.

While I was gone, Misty dropped off a heater for us for our utility room, she gave it to us for free…she is so sweet! SO I am knitting the scarf for her. :)

Here is the heater. When I first put it out there it was only 44 degrees…burrrrr!!! I freeze doing laundry out there usually, so it was nice doing it next to a heater. Thank you MISTY!!!

I woke up and Rody already had the kids up and eating breakfast. Him and Kenzie were going to church, but I decided to stay home with the kids since they were still coughing and had runny noses.

When they took a nap we decided to show Rody how to knitt, Kenzie wanted to teach him, so I let her.

He didnt really love it…haha he kept saying it was confusing. O well, at least he tried!

I knitted a coffee cozy for my mom, and I knitted one for Misty, and one for around my candle…which Im not going to light, because its from my mom so its special! It deserves a cozy ;)

Then we ate turkey subs for lunch…and someone was eyeballin mine.

Hahahaha

Then I decided to try to come up with a pattern for some boot cuffs for Kenzie.

I casted on 36

Then knitted 20 regular rows

Then I knitted 6 regular and 6 pearl stitches all the way across for 6 rows

Then I knitted 6 pearl and 6 regular stitches all the way across for 6 more rows

Then I knitted 6 regular and 6 pearl stitches all the way across for 6 more rows

Then I did all pearl rows for 6 rows

Then I added white, and knitted 4 regular rows

And then I casted off.

Then I turned it inside out and sowed the edges together in a circle, gray yarn for the gray and white yarn for the white.

Then turned it inside out and it came out like this.

I am so happy it turned out, I just made it up as I went, luckily I wrote it down for the 2nd one so they would match :)

I got done with both at 3:30 am and now I am super tired!

SURE HOPE KENZIE WEARS THEM!!!

We are adding a button to each of them tomorrow, under the white in the center of. Cant wait to see if they fit her lol

This morning I got up super early cuz I had to take Kenzie to school for a wrestling tournament…she wasnt wrestling because of her grades, but she had to be there to help out. She did end up wrestling 2 guys from her team, and pinned them both, but it didnt count for her team. 

I came home and decided to work on my purple washcloth, I decided to give it to Vershon because today was his birthday. :)

I knitted until it was time to pick up Kenzie. I finished my washcloth, and decided to make a coffee cozy for Rody, then I wanted one so I decided to make one for me. I love them! Im really liking knitting, even though Im slow, and can only do a basic knit. But I dont care! haha

When I picked up Kenzie, we had to go get her a white shirt for her School Whiteout dance tonight…She got one last night but when we got home she noticed it wasnt the one she thought it was. So she wanted to exchange it. 

Then we went to Tim Hortons, I got a extra large french vanilla cappuccino, and Kenzie got a large. When we got home, before we drank any, we poured the cappuccino’s into a cup to see the difference in sizes and this was our answer! I have been getting gypped!!!

can you believe 2 different sizes and this is the difference…what a crock…I know I will be saving some money from now on by getting just a large! Thats for darn sure!

We came home, and I knitted for about an hour then washed and straightened my hair…just because :)

Then Bryce came to pick Kenzie up for the dance. She didnt dress up or anything and wouldnt let me take any pics so thats why there are no pictures of her lol

Then Vershon, the birthday boy, and Aunt Ann came over. The kids made him cards for his birthday and Peyton drew a person on the back and said “This is Shon Shon”! Pretty good for a 3 year old.

We visited with them for a while and it was so much fun. Again, I didnt get any pictures…and Im punching my self because I didnt :( boo!!!

After they left, Peyton watched Frozen, and Isaac and daddy were on their phones…my techy family! haha
