Mar. 3, 2015

Today I got up, and Kenzie didnt have school. IT was ACT testing for the seniors. IT was kinda nice since we had such a hard day yesterday.

We were going to go to Kimmys, but the roads were bad, so we just went to the mall instead. It was alot of fun, even though we didnt buy anything. Kenzie did try on a few prom dresses.

The kids had fun just walking around, and playing in the play area. :) Kenzie too haha

After the mall, we went to G’s for lunch. It was our first time at the new one, and it was just as yummy as can be!

We got home and the kids took a nap.

Then my nephew Max came over. We got to spend a few hours with him, and it was so fun. He played with the bearded dragon, watched Ninjago, and we studied his Bible verse. Then we noticed Kenzies dragon wasnt doing so well so we went and exchanged him for a new one (still named Zeus).

Hes alot spunkier than the last one, Kenzie loves him!

Then we brought him home. Then headed to McDonalds for dinner. The kids ate and played. Peyton was going through the playland with Max so fast, she had so much fun with him. And Isaac just stayed real close to me, but did go in the playland a couple times.

We had dessert before taking Max home.

It sure was fun hanging out with Sweet Max. He is just a fun little sweetie!

Then we came home and the kids watched Little Einstein while I knitted on some slippers Im making for my friend Misty. I put the kids in bed, and then finished one of her slippers. LOVE THEM!

Now I am going to bed!

Jan. 24, 2015

The kids spent the night at Grammy’s last night so I slept in this morning. Bryce texted me and asked if Kenzie could go with him and his family to the Ice Show in Frankenmuth, so I got her up and she got ready to go. She left around noon. Rody went and picked up the kids and I went and got some yarn and some other stuff for knitting. Then I went and cleaned out my car. When I got home the kids were just going down for a nap. I decided to knit some slippers for a friend of mine, Melissa, she moved to California a little over a year ago and I miss her! She wanted some slippers so I was happy to knit her slippers and a few other things to send to her. I got the slippers done, then made a coffee cozy for her.

She has a anchor tattoo on her foot, so I thought the anchor buttons would be cute for her.

Then I worked on my blanket some more. (Taking my time with it now)

We watched my sister Melissa’s dog over the night because they were staying in a hotel for fun. The dog’s name is Abby…she was very good! And she and Izzy got along great!

Melissa came to pick her up so I gave her the slippers Kimmy and I knitted for her. She loved them…tried them on right away!

They look so cute on her :)

She called later on in the evening to tell me how much she loves them, she is so sweet!

I knitted pretty much the rest of the night. I was super tired, so I checked in around 11pm, which is super early for me. haha

Jan. 23, 2015

This morning we got up and got ready to go to Mom and Dads house…we do every Friday to see Kimmy (and Eli).

On our way there we stopped at Walmart to get some yarn. Kimmy and I decided to make Melissa some slippers (like the ones I made for Rody the other day…with 2 colors). We decided to each pick out a color, not knowing what colors we were going to pick. I couldn’t wait to get to my moms to see what color Kimmy picked out. I picked this burgundy purplish color…I wanted to pick this really pretty brownish color, but I thought for sure Kimmy was going to pick a brown. So I went with the burgundy purplish color. I was so excited to get to my moms to see our colors, I even skipped going to get a cappuccino from Tim Hortons. When I got to my moms, we pulled out our colors, and we picked the same color! Out of all the yarn there, we picked the exact same color…can you believe that!!! Hahahaha we are so twins, but I would of never expected we would pick the same colors…THE SAME COLORS! Wow!

After a good laugh we started to knit. We knitted most of our slippers and realized the pattern we were following was too big. We decided to pull out all that we had done…2 hours worth of knitting…or more. I was devastated lol!

Eli and the kids and Jack played the whole time we knitted. Mom knitted along with us, she is working on a scarf for Kenzie. We had a lot of good laughs during our knitting.

Kenzie went on a date with Bryce, out to lunch at Applebee’s because they got out of school at 11:35 again for exam week.

I had to leave to get Kenzie to wrestling practice, and to get the kids to Rody’s moms for their sleep over, which I hadn’t even packed any clothes or anything yet for them. I dropped the kids off at Grammy’s and took them McDonald’s because she gave me money to get them their dinner from there. :)

Here they are waving goodbye to me, I think they were very excited for their first sleep over at Grammy’s!

Then I came home for about a minute and called Kimmy, she talked me in to coming back to my moms to work on knitting the slippers some more. I was happy too.

We had a great time, and Kimmy got hers done. Then she had to leave to go to a school carnival at the boys school. I stayed at my moms and finished my slipper. Then my mom sewed a button on each slipper. They turned out so cute! I cant wait to give them to Melissa tomorrow.

Here is a pic of mom sewing the buttons on them

They are just so cute!

I came home and watched some Duck Dynasty on Netflix, then got caught up on some shows on Hulu, and now I can barely keep my eyes open. So I am hoping this all makes sense…lol…I dont feel like reading over it…well I never do haha.

SO now I am off to bed, hoping I have sweet dreams about my babies. I miss them so much! Cant wait to get them tomorrow!

Jan. 21, 2015

Today Kenzie got out of school at 11:35 so we went and picked her up. Then I went to the grocery store to get milk and cereal. Then we came home. The kids watched Mickey Mouse Road Rally while I worked on knitting a pair of slippers for Rody.

They both decided they needed their Mickey and Minnie Mouse to watch it with them. haha

After the movie we ate lunch and then the kids took a nap. Rody got home from work at 4 and left right away to take Kenzie to wrestling practice. Then he came home and got ready to go to caregroup.

Izzy was laying so funny so I took a pic

We made thick grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner and sausage. It was so good! Then the kids played well I knitted the slippers. I wanted to get them done before Rody got home. I gave the kids a bath and they watched a Baby Einstein before bedtime.

After they went to sleep, I finished the slippers. Thank God! Rody said they fit perfect, and he kept saying “they are so thick, I love them!” So I think he really liked them lol

Then I watched Gilmore Girls until I went to bed, while knitting a dishcloth for Kimmy. :)
