Jan.16, 2015

This morning I woke up, took Kenzie to school, got back home and got ready to go to my meeting at Kenzie’s school. I dropped the kids off at Grammy’s at 9am and headed over to the school.

I had a meeting with the school social worker, the psychologist, and Kenzie’s school counselor. It went so great! The social worker was a born again Christian, and we had a great talk. Thank you Jesus!

I stopped at Walmart to get some yarn because I decided I was going to knit a blanket. I got big balky yarn, and some size 16 needles. And I also got some dishcloth yarn, and some yarn needles.

Then I went to my moms house. Kimmy and her kids were there, and Melissa and 2 of her kids were there…Jack and Evan. We just hung out, had lunch, veggie soup, and egg salad sandwiches. It was a great lunch…only food I had all day haha. Then we knitted, and Kimmy taught Melissa how to knit. Even Jacob (who is 9) was knitting. I wish I would of taken a pic of him. It was so cute :( Kimmy was taking Jack and Evan home with her, and Melissa was taking Jacob home with her to spend the night. So I took Adam home with me.

I had to leave to pick up the kids by 3pm. When I got to Rody’s mom’s house, Adam was crying. He said he wanted to go home because there was no one his age with me. My mom was right down the road picking up Melissa’s kids, so she came and picked up Adam and took him back to his mom…I was sad! :( But Rody’s mom sent him home with a bag full of art stuff…so he was happy with that!

I snapped some pictures of the kids with Grammy, since we don’t have very many. :) They had to show me how they pulled the mattress off the bed.

I came home and the kids were super crabby so I put them down for a nap, they fell asleep right away! I knitted while they slept. Rody left and came back with some yarn for my blanket, I was so so so so happy! Thank you Rody!!! xoxo

here is the start of my blanket, what I got finished today.

Its about 2 feet wide, and a little over a foot long. It is so soft, and so heavy to hold while I’m knitting it. haha

Then the kids got up for dinner, pizza. They ate all their pizza so I let them each have 2 cookies. They are always excited to eat off their plates we made from Aunt Tina.

They each got a sucker for going #2 on the potty. :)

They decided to act crazy from all the sugar. haha

Kenzie and Rody had a daddy daughter date tonight, they went to Chen’s. They were originally going to go to G’s Pizza, but it wasn’t open yet.

When they got home, I knitted some more on my blanket, and had a talk with Kenzie. Then she wrote out some of the Bible, while I filled out forms for her school. Now I am doing my blog and off to bed, I can barely keep my eyes open.

Jan. 12, 2015

Today I woke up and went to Salvation Army with Misty. We had a great time together just thrifting. I found a ball of off white yarn for only .55 cents. Then I got home and worked on making a coffee cozy for Kimmy. I learned how to add a color, so I decided to try and make something with more than 1 color, I used 3 for her cozy and it turned out super cute!!!

Then I decided I was going to knit a infinity scarf so I started working on that while the kids slept. Arond 5pm, I decided to go do some grocery shopping at Kroger before I picked up Kenzie from wrestling.

Then we went to Mom and Dads house to get some buttons for Kenzies boot cuffs. Mom sewed the cute buttons on while Kenzie and I looked through buttons. It was really fun! We found some really cute buttons. Then Kenzie had the idea to sew a button on the bottom too, so that she could wear them 2 different ways…which was such a great idea!!!

Here they are :)

Here they are both ways, they turned out so cute!!!

We came home and got the kids in bed, then ate some tacos and I worked a little bit on my scarf, but was so tired, so I went to bed early.

While I was gone, Misty dropped off a heater for us for our utility room, she gave it to us for free…she is so sweet! SO I am knitting the scarf for her. :)

Here is the heater. When I first put it out there it was only 44 degrees…burrrrr!!! I freeze doing laundry out there usually, so it was nice doing it next to a heater. Thank you MISTY!!!
