Its my moms birthday today! I was very excited for 10:00am to come, because Me, Melissa, and Kimmy were all going to call my mom and wish her a Happy Birthday together on a conference call. It took a few tries, but we got it. We all sang happy birthday which was a little confusing but very funny. Then she opened her gift we sent her. We got her bamboo knitting needles and some dishcloth yarn, and Kimmy sewed her a really nice roll up case to hold all her needles in. We had so much fun putting it all together and picking out the fabric. Happy Birthday Mom, I love you!!!

She is so very special to me!

Then I talked to Kimmy for a long time, while she checked the sheep and stuff. Finally I decided to get off my butt and clean up the house a bit, and get the kids dressed. By this time, Rody was already done giving them lunch lol. Lazy day!

Then after Rody went to work, we went to get Kenzie at school. And I went and got some groceries. Then we came home and Kenzie got right at her homework, and I played with the kids. 

We ate Tacos from El Rancho Grande yum! The kids tried singing Happy Birthday to Nana over a video, but they fought the whole time while singing but here it is. Haha

Then we came home and Kenzie played a fun game with the kids where she drew a bunch of letters, and then she would draw a letter and have them look and find it. They loved it! She is so good with kids!

Kenzie was going to the bathroom, and she told Peyton to go draw some birds on the chalkboard so Peyton did, they turned out so good for a 3 year old! haha

Then Peyton wanted to wear makeup after watching a little girl putting makeup on in a video we watched. She wanted to take some pictures for Nana haha

Then we wrestled on the floor for a little bit, the kids were cracking up! Then we read the Bible and a book, brushed teeth, said prayers and they fell asleep right away!. I am going to watch a couple of my tv shows before bed. Night Night!

Feb. 2, 2015

Today we woke up to major snow, and schools were closed yesterday…so we all got to sleep in. Including Rody, he didn’t even try to go to work.

Kenzie had gotten the kids up again, all on her own and fed them breakfast. Shes so sweet! Rody got up shortly after Kenzie and the kids got up, and he decided to make sausage, hash browns and toast for us. My mom came over, so Rody woke me up. My dad was plowing a driveway down the road from us, so she came to visit while dad worked. It was nice!

She left about 30 min later and I started sewing the last piece of my knitted blanket together. ALL DONE! There are a few mistakes that bug me, but o well, I love it!

Im just so happy its done, took me 17 days all together. :)

We ate lunch, then put the kids down for a nap. I watched a show and started working on knitting a hat for Isaac…Kimmy was walking me through it by phone lol. Omi and Popi came over to give Kenzie some health bars they picked up for her. She was very happy! By this time the kids woke up. They were excited to see Omi and Popi!

After they left, Rody went to get dinner. I asked him to pick up stuff to make turkey subs, and he did :).

We ate dinner, and then I worked on finishing Isaacs hat, til around 7:30pm. Finally I got it done! And it turned out great! Isaac loves it!

Then Kenzie made some art for me with the kids…I LOVE IT! She is so sweet! And she is super good with the kids!

The kids went to bed, and I watched some of my shows on Netflix. I decided to work on a washcloth and practice doing a braided coil. Its looking pretty good for my first try. But I wanna get a new pull down needle with a hook before I do the rest. Ill probably post a pic when Im done. 
Then I went to bed.

Today I woke up, and couldn’t sleep…couldn’t stop thinking about getting my tire fixed.

I knew I had tires put on a while back but I wasnt sure how long ago. So I prayed, and had my mom and my sister pray. Then I called my dad and he met me at the tire place. He went in so I could stay with my kids in the car. He came out and said they were covered under warrantee. When I went in I found out that the warrantee is only until Feb 2015…wow! So close! So I got a new tire, rotation, and balance, all for $16. And my dad blessed me and paid for it! Thanks Dad…and mom!

I only waited about 15 min, and Isaac loved looking at all the rims and tires in there lol

he is such a boy! He kept saying “daddy will like this one mommy!”

Then we went to Walmart because our jump-o-lene  wasn’t holding air, so we exchanged it for another one.

Then we came home and the kids ate lunch and then took a nap…a much needed nap…since we were up so late last night.

They were being super duper silly before their nap.

During their nap, I decided to make a pair of slippers for each of them. I got one pair done, they are so cute next to mine.

When they woke up, we played for a little bit, while daddy went to his Caregroup. Then I gave them a bubble bath, which they are always stoked about! Thanks Nana and Papa!

Then we watched Baby Einstein til they went to bed.

I looked over at them and Isaac was just checking out the bottom of Peyton’s footy PJ’s…it was so funny…I was laughing so hard at him, but trying not to let him notice. 

Then after they went to bed Kenzie got home, she had went to some hypnotize show with her friend Bryce and his family. She went right to bed.

I started knitting another pair of slippers and got halfway done but I am too tired so I put them down til tomorrow so I could post my blog real quick :)

So now I am going to bed! Goodnight everyone!
