Feb. 13, 2015 Rody and My 11th Anniversary

I got up and got the kids up. They ate breakfast while I dyed my hair. Then we left and headed to my moms, because Kimmy and her boys were in town. The boys didnt have school today…so I considered them a bonus!

We knitted at my moms, visited and had lunch. My mom read us some of her diary she has kept of all her testimonies and answered prayers. It was fun hearing it, some of her writings were from 1980, when Kimmy saw Jesus!

Rody came and picked me up around 3:30 because we had to go sign for our taxes. Then we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. On the way there we were looking at all the houses abandoned, and boarded up. It was so sad. I wish I were a millionaire so I could do something about it. Id like to buy them all, clean them up, and provide houses for people to live in at low or no cost. If wishers were horses, then beggers would ride. :( I just wish I could do something! Then he took me by his work, cuz I have never seen where he works, I took a pic, because its totally the opposite of what I imagined. haha

I got the Chicken tenderloins meal at Cracker Barrel, and Rody got a huge breakfast. We had a really nice young waitress. She seemed new, but very good at what she was doing. 

We left and went to Salvation Army on the way home. I found a cute dress for Peyton, and some comfy pants for me and 3 rolls of bulky yarn, the kind I used for my blanket I knitted. I was so happy!

Then we went and picked up the kids from my mom and dads house. My dad had picked up Kenzie from school, so she was there too. The kids were super excited to see us. Isaac rode home with daddy, and Peyton and Kenzie with me. 

Peyton said she was having a garage sale haha

Isaac had really bad diarrhea, so when I put him in bed, I put 2 protective pads down underneath him.

Rody had flowers on the counter for me, they made me really happy because they reminded me of spring…I cant wait for spring!

He also had chocolate covered strawberries for me in the fridge. :) My favorite!

Then we took some pictures of Kenzies muscles from wrestling. She sure is BUFF!

Peyton slept with Kenzie, and they watched a movie while going to bed. I knitted on my other slipper, but got too tired to finish it, so I went to bed.

It was a very nice and fun day.

This morning my sister Melissa called and asked if her and my mom and Evan could come over until they got Jack from school (which is right down the road from my house). I was like, heck ya!!! When they got here,

Melissa wasnt feeling too well. She decided to go to the ER so I ended up watching Jack, Evan, and 2 kids she babysits. Their dad came and picked them up after about an hour. But I still had Jack and Evan. Peyton, Isaac, and Evan all took a nap. And at some point, not sure what time, my brother in law Bruce brought over Max and Hailey and went to the hospital with Melissa. We watched Wild Kratts, and then the American Girl movie. And the kids played with the duplo legos all day. Mel and Bruce came and picked them up around 6pm Then we ate dinner.

I knitted another pair of slippers throughout the day so Isaac, Peyton, and I all have the same pair now. I need to get some more yarn, then I am going to knit Rody and Kenzie each a matching pair too :)

Then Hailey wanted me to take her to gymnastics tonight so I had Bruce drop her and her stuff off and we went, Kenzie came with us. The kids and Rody stayed home.

It was fun watching Hailey do all her stuff. I went on the gymnastic floor cuz I wanted to see what it was like, it was really bouncy haha. I think Hailey was embarrassed haha. Me and Kenzie knitted while watching Hailey. I knitted a dishcloth, which I am giving to Rodys mom tomorrow, and Kenzie worked on her surprise for Nana.

After gymnastics we got hot fudge sundays from McDonalds…yum! Then I dropped Hailey off at her house.

When we got home, Rody had gotten the kids in bed, and cleaned up the whole house…what a surprise! Made me so so so so happy! I needed this little break! I finished the dishcloth for Rodys mom, and wrapped it up with a little note inside. I though it looked really cute so, yep, I took a pic of it!

 

Well its been a long day and I am definitely ready for bed.

Today I woke up, and couldn’t sleep…couldn’t stop thinking about getting my tire fixed.

I knew I had tires put on a while back but I wasnt sure how long ago. So I prayed, and had my mom and my sister pray. Then I called my dad and he met me at the tire place. He went in so I could stay with my kids in the car. He came out and said they were covered under warrantee. When I went in I found out that the warrantee is only until Feb 2015…wow! So close! So I got a new tire, rotation, and balance, all for $16. And my dad blessed me and paid for it! Thanks Dad…and mom!

I only waited about 15 min, and Isaac loved looking at all the rims and tires in there lol

he is such a boy! He kept saying “daddy will like this one mommy!”

Then we went to Walmart because our jump-o-lene  wasn’t holding air, so we exchanged it for another one.

Then we came home and the kids ate lunch and then took a nap…a much needed nap…since we were up so late last night.

They were being super duper silly before their nap.

During their nap, I decided to make a pair of slippers for each of them. I got one pair done, they are so cute next to mine.

When they woke up, we played for a little bit, while daddy went to his Caregroup. Then I gave them a bubble bath, which they are always stoked about! Thanks Nana and Papa!

Then we watched Baby Einstein til they went to bed.

I looked over at them and Isaac was just checking out the bottom of Peyton’s footy PJ’s…it was so funny…I was laughing so hard at him, but trying not to let him notice. 

Then after they went to bed Kenzie got home, she had went to some hypnotize show with her friend Bryce and his family. She went right to bed.

I started knitting another pair of slippers and got halfway done but I am too tired so I put them down til tomorrow so I could post my blog real quick :)

So now I am going to bed! Goodnight everyone!
