We went to East Tawas today and we took Lennox. It sure was fun! We got to bring Lenny in most of the stores because the were pet friendly. And we are at G's and Lenny got to come in with us because we sat on the enclosed patio. We went to the beach, and walked the pier. Lenny wasn't allowed on the beach so I was bummed!
We went up the road a little ways to the State Park, but they wanted me to pay $11 dollars to get in. Which would only cover me for State Parks until August. We said FORGET IT!
Then we drove to Oscoda and found a very nice pet friendly beach in town. It had a pier, playground, dog park, nice sand, clean beach, clean water, spray park, skate park, nice bathrooms...and more! Wow it was better than anything I imagined! So nice! And only 10 min away from Tawas! Only bad thing about it was we were freezing! A warmer day would be so perfect! Lenny loved the water!
Sure was a fun day!!!
We stopped to get ice cream on the way home. There was a hill there and Lenny kept running up the hill and sliding down on his side haha. It was so cute!
We got back to the campground and Greg and Nikki and the kids came over! We hung out with them til almost 11pm. Greg brought us a lot of wood. We made smores and the kids played. Then they left and I put the kids in bed. Then me and mom played 3/13 and then a game of dice til we went to bed. What a fun day!
