This morning we got up and the kids had breakfast and I had my coffee. Rody was at his book club thing. Around lunchtime we decided we wanted to go to the bakery and get some good doughnuts...the kind my dad used to bring home for us when we were kids! So when Rody got home we all headed over to the bakery. I got a dozen of the kind me and Kenzie like, and Rody got some and we got the kids each a cookie, a purple smiley face for Peyton and a blue Ninja turtle for Isaac. Then we came home and pigged out! The doughnuts brought back memories of when I was little. The kids wanted to save their cookies for later and have one of my kind of doughnut.

Then I decided to buzz Isaac's hair. I love it short! He is cute no matter what!

Then Peyton wanted me to straighten her hair like Kenzie's so I did.

I'm not a huge fan of it straight but she loves it. Won't be happening again for a long time. She looked at herself in the mirror and said "I love it mommy, now I look like everybody else" :( made me sad. 

Then we decided to go in the back and try to fly the kids kites they got from either Nana and Papa or Omi and Popi. We had a lot of fun!

We came inside and had a cheese, pickle, and cheez-it snack. Then while I posted this blog, Kenzie took the kids outside and said they were doing a surprise for me. This is what they did! So sweet and so so cute!

Kenzie went to Melissa's to watch her kids for a little while, so we went to eat at Qdoba. Then we stopped at Goodwill on our way home. We didn't find anything but it was fun looking around.

We came home and cleaned up the house and got the kids in bed. Kenzie came home and we watched TV til we went to bed.
