May 26, 2015

This morning we got up and the kids ate breakfast then got dressed. We noticed Peyton had a black eye this morning from Kenzie and her playing yesterday when her head met the floor. :(

My dad dropped my mom off here for an hour while he went to his appointment so we could walk. We walked for about 45 min and then came home and had some coffee. My dad came back to get her so we walked in the back yard to try and figure out where to put the garden. There are big tree roots where I wanted to put it, so now we have to figure something else out.
They left and then I got the kids each w bucket of water and a sponge and they washed their cars for about 2 hours, then we had lunch. They played in the driveway for a long time. They were playing drive-through and store and they played with the sidewalk chalk. They were so cute playing so good together for such a long time.

My mom called to see if I wanted Dad to come start the tilling process for our garden, heck ya I did! Haha
They came over and brought the rototiller and they brought their basketball hoop! Kenzie swindled it from them, but I gotta say, in so so happy and excited to have it! Ours was breaking and we play around the world all the time!
After we got that all set up Kenzie said she wanted to trade rims...what a job! But we did it!
Then my dad tilled the garden while my mom and I talked and planned how in going to plant it. We drew it out on paper. The kids played.
They loved being in just their underwear haha
Then a guy from Craigslist called about some rabbit fence he had to put around my garden. I had called him to see if he would take $20 for it and he called back to say yes. So I went to pick up my mom to go with me which was an extra bonus! We laughed a lot on the trip there and back...we always do!
I'm on my way home and a thunderstorm comes, I can't see to drive so I pulled in and sat it out underneath the front entrance of my church. Good time to post and update my blog ;)
