NEW YEAR's EVE!!!

Today we got up and didnt do anything all day. Just laid around!

This girl is a hoot!

This boy is totally potty trained during the day!!! Woo hoo!

Tonight we went to our friends house from Church, Taya and her hubby Chris. They had us and some other people over and also Angie and Jason (more friends from church) And they had their kids there too.

We ate sloppy joes and just hung out for a little bit, our kids were very tired and crazy hyped up on sugar. We were all ready to leave around 10ish.

Chris has a studio and asked us if we wanted a tour, we said yes! It was amazing! Just like you would see in the movies! Reminded me alot of the studio in the show Parenthood. It was sooo cool to see! When he shut the door, the room is so sound proof that it kinda makes you dizzy! Its kinda like when your ears pop but its not uncomfortable, its just weird feeling. But super cool to experience! He is a hard worker and you can tell in the little bit that he showed us. He hired someone to do the drywall for the separate rooms, but he did everything else on his own! I am just so blown away at how awesome it was! I sure wish I would of snapped a pic or two. 

O and Peyton was totally comfortable with him, she talked to him the whole time we were in the room, and for anyone who knows Peyton, she is usually not the type of kid who just talks to anyone haha. She loved him for some reason!

We came home, got the kids in bed, and then just hung out until the ball dropped. I kissed Rody at midnight and we took some pics, but I am so tired I decided to go to bed after writing my blog…dont want to get behind lol ;)

Today I woke up around 8:30 am listening for my kids and then I remembered they were at my moms house so I went back to sleep til around 10am. It felt so nice to sleep in, even though my kids sleep til at least 9am everyday :) good kids! haha

I had to pick Kenzie up from wrestling practice at noon so I decided to go do some thrifting before I got her…with no kids  :) It was nice! I got a whole bag of really nice silverware, a pair of shorts for PeyPey, a sweater for Peyton (which is super nice!), and a shirt for Isaac!

Then I picked up Kenzie and we went to my mom and dads to get the kids! They were being crazy after I got there so I decided to leave as soon as they were done with their lunch.

She said it was fun, but she was very busy lol. I told her next year would be 10 times easier haha. Thank you mom and dad for doing this! What a special memory! Im not sure you will have 10 grandkids for the sleepover ever again, I hope so, but who knows what Kenzie will be doing next year at this time. :(

When we got home the kids were being super crabby and whiny…It was very annoying, so I put them down for a nap right away! They fell asleep so quickly (which never happens) so I know they were tired! My mom said they were up late last night.

When they woke up Kenzie made them dinner and they ate good. Then they played for a while until it was time to get ready for bed. We cleaned up all the toys and then got jammies on and then I let them play with the duplo legos Kimmy gave us…they were so excited!

Here are the ice cream cones Isaac got from Eli for Christmas. THEY LOVE THEM!!! They were making us every different kind of ice cream cone. When they weren’t looking, I would take the ice cream off and hide it and say it was in my tummy, and they kept getting me more haha. What a cute idea for legos!

Then we read the Bible, brushed teeth, then prayed and the kids went to bed.

O I cant forget about Kenzie, my sweet 17 year old (fun age) :(

She got pretty mouthy with me so I had her sit and write “I will not talk back to my mom” 100 times, then she got mouthy again so I cranked it up to 500 times. Thanks for the idea Kimmy! She started this with her boys, and I used to do it with Kenzie when she was younger, but its nice to know, it still works at 17. :) 

I sure love her though. xoxo

Today I woke up and didnt really do much of anything, except pack the kids suitcases because all 10 grandkids were spending the night at my mom and dads house tonight…which they were super excited about!

Madi’s mom came and picked her up.

The kids played, then Vershon came over…the kids were super excited to see him!!! He brought them some candy canes filled with pixie dust…they were really good! A lady that he works with told him to give them to the kids :)

 Then we got ready to go to the big sleepover!

When we got there Kimmy and her kids were already there, Kimmy had to leave so I was really excited to see her before she left. We were all in a hurry to get home to our quiet nights with our hubbys lol

WOW thats a ton of kids hahaha…good luck mom and dad!

Before we left Rody came into our room and said “o wow you have pants on!” I laughed and said yep…no kids means Im wearing pants lol

I usually wear pj pants or comfy pants everywhere! But I was wearing these tonight hahaha

Rody and I went to Olive Garden we both got the salad, breadsticks, and garlic Alfredo noodles, with grilled chicken breast on top. It was so so so so good! I HAD TO TAKE A PIC OF IT LOL

While we were waiting to be seated, we were sitting in these chairs and they were like a foot away from each other. Rody said “I feel like Im so far away from you!” so I said, while lifting on my chair, “want me to move closer to you?” And I couldnt pick up the chair so I said “I can hardly move my chair its so heavy!” Then I noticed it was bolted to the floor! hahahahaha we laughed so hard! 

 

I was assuming Rody would want to get right home and go to bed since he had to be at work at 6am the next morning, but he turned the opposite way. I said “where are we going?” He said “were on a date!” I just figured we were going to Walmart or Best Buy, but nope…I was so freakin excited when he pulled into Goodwill!!! Woo HOO!!! Best date ever!!! I said “woa I cant even imagine you taking me here” and he said “I KNOW!” haha

He is so sweet!

I found a spiderman bowl for Isaac, some bobblehead  star wars things for the boys, and some Tupperware cups that match my set! 6 of them for only .99 cents!!! I was so excited!!!!

What a great set! I cant believe I have 6 big yellows and 6 small yellows, a medium orange and a small green, and 4 big colors and 4 small colors! And 2 awesome bowls! How cool! They are all like brand new…no dents or anything in any of them! I found 2 small blue cups like the ones in my pic, but they had teeth marks in them so I didnt get them…I just want the best haha

When I got home I called mom to see how it was going. She said Peyton has wanted to eat everything, and they were definitely the kids who required the most work haha.Then the kids were excited to tell me they ate ice cream with sprinkles on top. Then they blew me kisses and hugs over the phone. Im so glad my mom and dad are doing this! These memories will last a lifetime!!!

Off to bed I go now! Its hard to stay awake when there is no one making noise in the house. lol

Today we got up and went to church. My pastor preached the best sermon I have ever heard him preach! We were so excited to see Stacie and Kody at church today!!!

After church we went home and Bryce came over so we watched movies until he left.

Then Madi came over to spend the night. We always have so much fun with her. We were laughing so hard we were crying…about a few different things lol. After the kids went to bed, we were watching youtube videos. And decided to make some of our own videos. Here are 2 we made. They are so dumb they are funny!

After the makeup tutorials we decided to play, touch my body. Its a game where one person is blind folded and the other one takes the blindfolded persons finger and puts it on their body, then the blind folded person has to guess what part of the body it is. It is so funny!!!

Her son Rudy is very special, he had problems when he was born and as a result, he is extra special! I love him so much! He is 16 and is the sweetest boy you will ever meet! When Rody came into the living room with a cup of coffee he said “hey mom why is he drinking coffee, its not morning!” haha His mom said, “Rudy, people drink coffee all day long!” It was so cute!         He kept giving Peyton and Isaac high fives and they loved him too, they even showed him their room.

Lexi is pretty quiet but she is so sweet too! She is 15. She asked me to french braid her hair because they had a Christmas party they were going to right after they left my house. We had such a good time with them…always do! I definitely consider her one of my best friends!

After Karen and the kids left we decided to go to the mall. Kenzie needed to take a shirt back for a different size and she needed to get a new nose ring cuz she lost hers lol

The kids loved sitting in the front of the Ambercrombie store just watching people walk by. Haha (they have the cumfy-est chairs)

Then we took them to the play area where they played with tons of kids for a pretty long time. I could stay there all day! Peyton had to go potty so I took her in the family bathroom (which has a little potty), she wanted me to take her picture lol.

dont worry we washed her hands good afterwords haha.

Then we played some more and then went and found Kenzie.

After there we went to Walmart, then home, 

We watched Frozen…and Vershon came over, and brought me Aunt Ann’s dressing…MY FAVORITE!!! They love me! He watched Frozen with us and then after he left, we put the kids in bed. They fell asleep right away!

Then Kenzie has been burning a candle that she got from her Grandma for Christmas. They have a ring hidden in them, it can be worth $10.00 all the way up to $5000.00. Hers is worth $10 haha but its really pretty. She finally found it tonigh, it was so much fun waiting for it!

O I almost forgot, when we were at the mall, I found a sucker like the one Kenzie ate with the scorpion in it the other day. It is so nasty! I didnt buy it but I wish I would of cuz Kenzie said she would of ate it, here it is!

We got up this s morning and went with my sister Melissa and my niece Hailey to her eye Dr appointment. Melissa surprised me with a cappuccino…yum! Thanks Mel!
We got to Haileys appointment and she got her eyes tested and sure enough, she needed glasses! We picked out a few cute pairs but she found the cutest pair all by herself. She looks so cute in them!

Mel brought me home and I got the kids ready and went over to my mom and dads for Christmas dinner leftovers…yummy! Then we watched #deathtoselfie, naming rights…the last one of the series! So so so so good! The kids played while we watched it.

I had to go pick up Kenzie at her biological grandmas house. She celebrated Christmas with them and her cousins and Aunt today. She got a lot of nice stuff. This girl is spoiled! But I’ll call her BLESSED :)

We came home and Kenzie went to babysit for a lady from churches grandkids. Me Rody and the kids went and walked the mall and got a couple things, then we went to Best Buy. Rody got me a new phone case…with his Christmas gift cards…he’s so sweet! O and I got a megaphone with a gift card for JCPenneys…which I love! Haha I’m the worst yelled…ask Rody!

Kenzie got this shirt tonight so I made her show off her wrestling muscles in it haha

Then Kenzie came and got me and Peyton and we went to Goodwill where she got tons of cute clothes and cute boots!

Then we came home and I used my megaphone and gave everyone headaches haha.

Im going to try and post a video clip of my cute fish…it loves me! It acts this way everytime I come up to its bowl.
