On we go...growing up is hard to do

Having a baby at such a young age was quite a change! I lived with my mom and dad and they helped me out a ton, since I had no help from my daughters dad. He still wanted to see me, so he would use her to get to me. We dated on and off for almost 3 years…remember, I was young and totally immature! I was very close to his family at first. He started dating someone else and I FINALLY moved on. Kenzie, that’s what we call her, was about 3, almost 4 at this time. Jim’s mom and dad were divorced and both remarried since I met him. Kenzie called his dad Papa Jim and his wife Omi, and she called his mom Nana Joan and her husband Papa Kevin.
Papa Jim and Omi divorced when Kenzie was 2. Omi remarried Ed a couple years later and Kenzie started calling him Popi. Whew! Now that we got all that out of the way haha!
We slowly lost all contact with Jim’s family, he had told them he didn’t think she was his, and who do you believe? Your son, or the girl who had his baby. Anyway they were out of the picture. But Omi and Popi were very much in the picture. They have been Kenzies “other” grandparents…along with my mom and dad! Everybody always asks me how we are related and I’m like “do you have a couple hours?” Hahah. Then I say “Omi is Kenzies biological dads ex step mother…now Kenzies true grandmother” and they look at me all crazy eyes and just say “mmmmmkay”! It’s so funny!
We went on with life and I heard that Jim was in and out of jail for child support but I didn’t really care, at the time, I thought he was getting what he deserved! I feel I was wrong now and I will explain later on. The. I started going out and partying with my friends.💃
