A Sad Story
One of my friends Angie was pregnant at the same time as me, she was due before me. She found out she was having a girl and they were so excited because she would be their first baby, they decided to name her Sayla.
My twins were born on a Tuesday and were in the NICU and Saturday was the day people who aren’t parents or grandparents could come see the babies. So Angie and her husband came up to see the twins. She was about ready to pop! Anyway she left the hospital and when I got home that evening my mom called and said to pray for Angie because she went to the hospital and it didn’t sound good. Immediately I started praying. But later on we found out she delivered a still born baby. I cried and cried for days! I felt so bad that I have these 2 babies, and she lost her one baby.
About a week later her and her mom came over and brought me some stuff.
They found out I wasn’t able to produce enough milk for the babies so Angie offered to pump her breast milk, I accepted.
What a miracle that God turned something so sad and horrible into something that helped get my babies stronger and helped keep them healthy. Sayla will never be forgotten! I can’t wait to meet her in heaven one day! The pictures above:
1st one is Sayla holding a cross
2nd one is Angie holding Peyton who provided therapy for this heart broken mommy.
Angie pumped her breast milk for Peyton and Isaac the entire couple months that they were in the NICU and for a few more months when we came home from the hospital. What a totally selfless thing to do!
