This morning I got up and got ready for a dentist appt which was at 10am. My mom was planning on watching the kids but she called and said she wasnt feeling well so she didnt want to get us sick. I was going to cancel my appointment but i decided to see if Rodys mom could watch the kids and she said yes so I quickly got them ready and took them over there. She fed them cheerios for breakfast.
My dentist appointment went great, no cavities for this girl! It was my very first appointment at this dentist and I loved them! The kids and Kenzie have gone to her before and they all love her…and her playroom. They gave me a goodie bag to take home, I couldnt wait to see what was in it. They let me pick a carnation…and ring the bell for no cavities haha.
This is what was in my goodie bag:
A carnation
A bottle of Listerine
dental floss
a tooth brush
a huge tube of 3D whitening tooth paste
a small tube of tooth paste
a piece of orbit gum
and some stickers (not in the pic)
After I left the Dentist, I went to Mistys to feed Koa (her dog). And when I left there, I usually go left cuz its a much faster way home, but I went right. I drove down the road and found this awesome double sized cuddling chair ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!
I got it in the back of my car all by my self and put lifting straps around it and shut both ends in the back car doors to keep it in there lol…hey Im from hick land hahaha…I made it work! When I got home, I got it out of the car, sat in it, and it was so uncomfortable! It felt like there was a board sticking up in the back of it. So I was going to drag it out to the end of my driveway, then I decided to flip it and see if I could fix it. And all it was was a piece of cardboard bent and out of place. So I pushed it back and straightened it out and holy cow! IT IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE CHAIR EVER!!!!
SO I hauled it into my house, changed my living room around so I could fit it. And here’s how it worked out!
Looks cute hu? Well I love it! Rody does too…I told him “Isnt it nice? Merry Christmas!” when he saw it hahaha
When I went to pick up Kenzie from school, her friend Bryce was walking home, like 2 miles away, and it was freezing out, so I asked him if he wanted a ride…he did! Then Kenzie invited him to youth group and he wanted to come so he just came home with us.
I made them chicken fried rice while they played with the kids…Bryce is so good with them! He was playing kitchen with them, and they said they were making coffee, chicken fried rice, and other goodies for him. Rody ordered me Jimmy Johns for dinner…yum!
Then I took Bryce and Kenzie to youth group, and the kids to the kids classes so I could go to caregroup with Rody. They were having a Christmas party and this is the first time I went. It was alot of fun! A guy and his wife named Wayne and Sherry were there and they were my Sunday school teachers when I was very young. I felt so comfortable with them there. Wayne is just so funny and sweet! He always has been!
Then I went and picked up the kids from church, Kenzie and Bryce had already gotten them out of the kid class for me. So we dropped Bryce off at home and then headed home!
When we got home Rody was sitting in the new chair all comfy haha…the kids all climbed on him so I took a pic
Then Peyton laid on Daddy and said, “Im laying on you Daddy, lay on me too Daddy” it was so cute!
Here are some more pics from tonight…it was a great day! O and I almost forgot, Rody got a $400.00 Christmas bonus from his work today!!! Woo Hoo…blessings coming from every way! Thank you Jesus!!!

Kenzie just said this is the most comfortable chair ever :)
